Bank Print Outs

Yesterday a friend of mine and I went to the bank to get copies of her accounts for the last like 3 months for their records and now apparently the banks are charging a great deal for this. I guess if they wanted these print outs for all of her accounts it would have cost her around $200.00!!

Why are banks trying to take such advantage of people when times have been hard enough on everyone??

Of course she didn't pay that, we just simply went and bought more ink for her printer and printed this stuff out at home for a whole lot less than $200.00.

It just really irks me that for printing out a few papers that they want so much money for it. I can understand covering the cost of ink and paper, however they wanted like $6.00 or something like that per account page.

It is just crazy, and I really wish that something would be done with these banks that would help protect the people for all of their dumb charges that they seem to be allowed to charge people.

Our bank doesnt charge for this but then again, I never have this done as the monthly statements they send out have always covered any needs I may have or have had.

Plus, anything I need like that, I also print out at home. It saves a lot in the long run by doing this at home. Saves on gasoline from not having to go to the bank and as you said, is much cheaper than the $200 they would have charged her.
