Default Car Loan

Well as you all know my van blew up last week and I have been carless. Well I applied for a loan through my bank and I got pre-approved.

The hard part is finding a car that meets all of the banks criteria for the loan.

First of all the car cannot be older than a 2004. It cannot have more than 100,000 miles on it and yet it has to fit into my budget. Thats the hard part. I can find tons of cars that are newer and have lower mileage but I cannot afford the payments for those ones!

My husband and I went car hunting all day today. Finally late this afternoon we got frustrated and decided to call it a day. We were almost home when we thought of one more car lot to check. We went there and I fell in love with a car!

It's a 2004 Jeep Liberty with 4 wheel drive and lots of extras. I took it for a test drive and the only thing I noticed was that the steering pulled. They are going to fix it.

So tomorrow I will take the vehicle information to my bank and see if they will approve it. It meets the criteria for the age of the vehicle but it does have 10,000 more miles than they wanted. I am hoping that they will still let me have it! Cross your fingers and toes and all of that for me!!!!

Default Re: Car Loan

Its good that you have been preapproved for the loan and I hope you get the Jeep Liberty.

Finding a good used car can be quite a hassle, but just the fact that you got the loan is a big plus these days.

One wouldnt think that 10,000 miles over their limit would keep you from getting the car you want, but you never know.

I am hoping that you get it. I know you work and have kids and cannot afford to be without wheels.
