Default Credit and Debit Cards at Risk

Watching the news this morning they were talking about how most of our credit cards and bank debit cards are seriously at risk of being scanned by criminals and the information stolen.

Recently at a craft store a scanning device was discovered on the card swipe machine. The scanner scans a cards information strip and records it. Later a theif can copy that information onto a blank card and all of a sudden your paying for someone else's shopping spree!!

90% of the time these scanning devices go unnoticed because they were designed to be invisiable.

Makes me thankful I almost always use cash for everything instead of plastics. It just isn't safe anymore.

In stores registers go unwatched for long periods of time and in some restaurants your card is taken into the back to be scanned. There are just to many times when criminal scanners can easily be used to steal all of our information!!!
