Default How to save on bank fees.

We all get very irritated at all the fees we have to pay at the bank and so here a couple of other options that allow you to do away with most of those fees.

Refillable debit cards that can be bought at places like Walmart. These cards can be used in the same way credit cards are used and only carry a small fee.

Walmart offers Money Card that only costs $3 a month to use, and your money will be replaced if the card is stolen.

Credit Unions are another option. Credit Unions basically operate the same way as a full service bank, but because they are member owned, they dont have all the fees.

In fact, some Credit Unions even reimburse customers for the fees that they pay when using ATMs that are connected to other banks.

When you consider that 44 % of banking customers are now members of Credit Unions and do their banking at them, theres a lot to be said for the savings.

I just read an article yesterday that said there will be even more and higher bank fees than there is now.

And the sad part is we arent going to have any choice but pay them as Social Security checks and VA pension checks etc have all got to be set up to go into a bank account by the year 2013.

I have also heard that some employers also pay that way or on debit cards.

So they actually have us anyway you look at it and seem to be pretty much able to do as they damned well please when it comes to more and higher fees.

to me its a chatch 22 either way the government controls the way ur money is given to u but to me in my oppion its seem better to have it put either on a debet card or deposited is the safest as there is no chance of it getting stolen out of ur mail box and u are protected that way

I agree, direct deposit or a debit card with your money on it instead of a check is the very best way to go.

Especially in these hard times. You hear more and more of robberies, stolen checks, and identity theft. So these other features will definitely keep your hard earned money safe.

And Im hoping that the banks will not be adding more fees to our money and upping the already existing fees.
