Default Single Bank Towns

When you are in a small town and there is only bank bank with in a 20 minute drive, you really have to be careful!

Some of these banks tend to take advantage of their customers with fees, and other crap because they can get away with it.

People don't wanna travel distances to do their banking and this is why those small towns with one bank try their best to gouge as much as possible out of their customers.

Also sometime time their customer service isn't the greatest. They tend to beat around the bush regarding questions to avoid giving a straight answer so make sure that if your in this situation you get your straight answer before you let them drop the subject.

That is exactly how our town is...So we bank about 50 miles away. I don't ever drive to the bank though I only do it all through UPS which is much cheaper than the gas to go to the bank.

Now that is seriously a shame that you have to go through such lengths for a bank. I don't know why bank customers put up with the things that they do. It isn't worth it.

I am sorry to hear that you have to deal with a bank so far away. I hope that things change in your town and maybe you will then be able to bank in your local area.
