Default Medical costs.

You can take a certain amount for medical expenses. I use a tax
preparer and am not sure of the amount. I do know however that
I keep receipts for co payments and prescriptions.

The money that you spend all year adds up to big savings when
you file your return. Make sure that you have a good place to
keep them. There is nothing more frustrating at tax time than
searching for all the necessary paperwork.

After you have filed put your return copies and receipts in a
file together and keep them safe. You could god forbid be audited.
I wouldn't want to have to look for them then either.

Good Luck and happy filing!
