Wink Relief Tax for Seniors

Senior Citizens may be getting some help on their property taxes. With everyone struggling so much right now. Senior Citizens whom live on a fixed income are struggling alot more, This will hopefully help.

Quote:
When a property owner turns 65 years of age or older, or when he or she is disabled, he or she may file an application immediately for disabled or senior citizen property tax relief.

Relief Tax for Seniors

This is very good news for those who are 65 or older , or disabled . I hope this will help many breath a sigh of relief from some of their worries.

Default Relief tax for seniors.

The Homestead Deduction for seniors can be 50% which would help significantly since most seniors are on very fixed incomes.

Can you tell us more about where a person would file for this deduction at? Would they go to the local courthouse to do this? To where you pay the property taxes at?

I will check with our courthouse and find out how to do this where I live and let you all know.

For those who have access to a computer and the internet you will find a link on the site I've listed that you can get the paper work to apply for this relief, and I have recently check with the court house in my area, and they to carry the forms to apply.
