Default States that have No State income tax

Did you know that there are 9 States that have no state income tax..

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming.

How do they pay for new roads or their state government employees..
Is there anyone out there that can answer this question Because I found this very interesting I thought every state paid taxes..?

I believe if you check these states all have a higher sales tax. Michigans is 6% I believe tennessee is 9%. Some states have a double sales tax. A first and then a secondary.
