Default Tax info in the mail.

Now is the time when you will be getting papers in the mail pertaining to the taxes you will be filing before April.

The best way to keep them handy and not lose them is to get a folder and mark the tax year on it and keep all pertinant papers in the folder until time to file.

Ive lost papers before and had to do a last minute rush search to find them, but not any more. This way, everything you need is at your fingertips.

These papers could include 1099s, w2s, interest paid on home mortgages, amount of money you have gotten from Social Security, widows benefits of any kind and other interests you have paid during the year.

As I said, buy a cheap folder, mark the tax year on the front of it and put all of these papers in the folder as they come in. This way you know exactly where the folder is and have everything right at hand when you go to file. Relieve the stress, keep it all together.
