Taxes and the very rich.

Did you realize that the very rich pay very little in income tax. For instance, look at this fact.

Last year, 4 thousand households with incomes over a million dollars owed no federal income tax whatsoever, according to Tax Policy Center estimates.

And even stranger than that, billionaires pay about 1% in income taxes while the rest of us struggle in trying to pay what we owe to the government and we dont even make a half a percent of what the rich make or have.

And get this,

"Billionaires are still rare enough that we cannot get data for them without running afoul of privacy rules,"

What I would like to know is why they have so much more "privacy" than the every day joe. Do you really think that the government doesnt know who these "filthy rich" are? I believe they know and I think its about time that everyone is taxed equally.
