Default Where Has The Time Gone??

I would love to know where in the hell the time has gone? In just a few months we will all once again start breaking out the paperwork and what not to file our taxes once again.

I thankfully have pretty much everything in order and ready to go when the time does actually get here. I prefer to file my taxes as early as possible that way it is one thing I don't have to worry about.

Are you all pretty much prepared for tax time. I hope so because man time is rushing by and it will soon be here again!!

If not I hope that you start getting yourself ready, cause before you know it, it will be time to file.

This year, filing our taxes will be somewhat easier as my husband quit working the last week of May because of cancer. So this year there isnt much in the way of paper work to get together.

We have an accountant file our taxes so she has all of our information on hand and can buzz right through them and this year will be a lot easier than past years for her.

Since we are both self employed, there can be a hassle when coming up with all of our deductions but as I said, there wont be much in the way of paperwork this year.

It sounds like your accountant will be pleased when doing your taxes this year. I am sorry to hear that your husband is fighting cancer though. I hope all goes well!!

I have always filed my taxes myself and never bothered with getting an accountant to take care of that kind of stuff, though I now have to wonder if I am missing out on deductions because I do my taxes myself.

I once heard on a commercial where nearly half of the people who file taxes are missing out of deductions that they should have filed for, but don't because they don't know that they should.

Then again on the other hand there are millions of people who attempt to claim a variety of deductions on their taxes which they should not at all get.
