Where Your Tax Dollars Are Going

I was watching the news this morning and they were discussing where our tax dollars are going, and why the national debt is constantly growing instead of decreasing.

Tax dollars are paid out to thousands of people who do NOT pay any taxes what so ever. This means that they are not adding any money into the collective pot, yet are walking away with money that isn't theirs.

Of course this isn't much of a surprise here, we all know that this kind of stuff has been happening for years.

Though it sure is enough to make a person angry!! People work really hard for their money and are forced to pay out some serious amounts in taxes all of the time. Then to watch the government just hand it out to those who really don't deserve it is a load of BS.

I hear what your are saying and it is very aggrevating especially when you see some people making it a lifetime effort not to work.

There are on the other hand people who cant work because of physical or mental issues and that is something totally different. But when a person is able to work and just sits back and collects our tax dollars, it is very infuriating.

Something else I find infuriating is the amount of tax dollars that go to our schools and there are so many kids that actually graduate that cannot even read well. If we are going to pay into our schools, then we need to make sure that each child comes away from school with the ability to read well and to do math without a calculator.

Back in the day, if a child was having problems at school, the teacher spent extra time with that child until the child caught up with the class. Teachers dont make a lot of money, but they do need to see to our childrens education and if they cant or wont do that, then they need to be replaced.

I agree with you. It is a shame to see someone who graduated from high school yet is not able to read something or can barely add and subtract. Its horrible.

Though I can't really blame the teachers for this. Teachers and getting more and more students every year and that isn't fair to the teachers.

Most want to help students who are struggling, but due to time and class sizes it is almost impossible.

I have even heard of some teachers taking time out of their personal lives and getting together with a group of students who are struggling in an attempt to help them all.

The thing with the school system is that teaches aren't paid enough along with the fact that they are getting to overwhelmed with to many students per class, and this is only getting worse as the years pass by.

Unfortunately, I don't see the tax problems ending any time soon considering our national debt is currently over $13,000,000,000,000! We continue to get taxed more and more all while there's growing concern the retirement age will be raised and social security will run out by the time I reach retirement age.

And on top of all this, they are talking about adding more taxes to us but cant decide who to tax for the dollars they need.

I say tax the flaming rich people. They are the ones that can afford it. They are the ones who use Tax Shelters so that they dont have to pay as much out in taxes.

Leave us lower income people alone this time. We are being taxed to death.

I just do not understand why the hype over tax cuts. I mean really it seem that they only ones that benfit from these cuts are the rich and the little guy get the short end of the stick.Unemployment or the incress and the job market getting slimmer and slimmer to even find a job. So i agree give the smaller employed people a break.

I have often wondered why they tax the little people to death and not the higher income people. Put these taxes on them, they can afford the extra taxes, we cant.

And when you consider that everyone in the US has to file a tax return and most owe the government money, why do we still have such a high national debt.

Perhaps someone needs to make out a budget for those in power. Then, they say because we dont spend like we used to that that causes a lot of problems too. But we cant spend what we dont have.

Well it looks like the working class people are not going to even benfit
from the new tax cut proposal by President Obama

In fine print it all look good on paper but the reality is that the working
class will stand to lose money .

But the wealthy will once again be the ones that will not suffer but stand to benifit form this

So i want to know this with the decress in jobs and the lose of homes,
unemployment how are the little people going to make ends meets.

With the rise in cost of every thing from food to gas i fear that this is
not in the best instrest of all people just the wealthy, and why is that?

They say that the lower income spend every dime, well yes we have to just to stay with our heads above water and to provide for our childern.

Where as the wealthy save ,well they have the option to do so ,they are not spending every thing they earn to live .

So in ending i would like to say i am not comdeming the wealthy i am mearly asking why do the little people always end up on the bottom
