I was wondering where my rebate was so I went searching and found this article that answere alot of my questions.

First: Who Gets What?

I didn't realize that this rebate check was a prepayment to the new tax dedutions that will be used when we file in 2009. I think in a way it helps us now but what if things are not any better next year and we could uses these deductions checks more so next year than this year. I guess that question is still unanswered.
