Will We Be Seeing Higher Taxes??

I would have to say yes I believe we will. This country is in some serious debt and there is no easy way out.

One way to help eliminate a portion of the debt is to raise the taxes so that more money is coming out of all our pockets to pay for the mistakes of the government.

This is much easier than the government actually doing something to improve the situation.

No one wants to think, hear or see higher taxes, but I fear that is will be coming soon. Taxes on some things have already risen beyond belief practically, mostly the cigarette taxes we smokers have to pay now.

Any way you look at it this once great country of ours is in dire need of money and the only way that is going to happen is to raise the taxes that we all pay to help offset the debt!!

I, for one, do not want to see a raise in any more taxes on anything.

All of the programs and such out there that are supposed to help schools etc just must not get what they are promised or is ill spent so they slap more taxes on our properties each year.

Cigarettes keep getting hit high with taxes, as do other areas in our lives and I am getting so tired of paying more and more for what I need or have.

They, the government, needs to cut back on their spending. That would solve most of the problem. But they seem to be bound and determined to make the national debt even higher.

Oh it would seriously be nice to see those in the government forced to live simply on the averages of the working people, even for just a short time!! Then maybe they would realize just what they are doing to the people and maybe actually take steps to make things better for this country and the people who belong here.

Sorry but I don't think those here illegally should recieve any benefits in this country!!

Any way back to the point here, I don't want to deal with any higher taxes either. Pretty soon people are going to need a second job just to cover the taxes the government keeps piling onto all of us and at a time when there are pretty much no jobs at all.

I am sure that we will be seeing higher taxes sooner or later. I mean we are so far in debt and really have no way to get the money to cover that mess. It will again be left up to the american public to pay off the debt that the government has gotten us into.
