Default 2 Billion To Brazil

Watching some early show with my other half yesterday they were talking about how there are plans to give Brazil $2 billion to drill for oil off their shores for the U.S.

Now this is something that could be done off of our own shores and not only would it bring in oil, revenue but thousands of jobs to top it all off.

But the government isn't going to do this. They would rather waste the money to have another country do the work and let all of us pay for it in the end twice!! What I mean by pay for it twice is we have to fork over the 2 billion in the first place then we will again have to pay for it at the pumps!!

That really doesn't make sense to me either. I will have to check this one out.

It makes no sense to pay another country so that they can drill for oil and then send it to use. That is alot of money and we just don't have it to give.

I am wondering however if this is so that we have back up. I mean right now everytime there is unrest in the middle east our prices sky rocket. I want to see that part of the plan that keeps our prices down!
