Default Brake Line repair

My new motto, "Always Expect the Unexpected!" That is the story of my life!

I was leaving work last night when my brake lights on the dash of my van came on and they stayed on. Well it was late so my husband couldn't check to see what was wrong. It was too dark outside. So this morning he went out and sure enough a brake line had broken and was leaking fluid! Just what I need.

Well, he had to go to work so here I am without a vehicle and I have to go to work. I guess I will be walking because there is no way I am driving without brakes!!!

I was able to find a ride earlier and get the brake lines but he won't be able to get it done until tonight or tomorrow. At least I don't have to work tomorrow. Walking tonight will be bad enough.

These things always happen out of the blue and when I am broke or almost broke inbetween pays! I just can't catch a break! At least brake lines aren't very expensive. I bought two of them and it came to $12.
