Default Calfornia Crisis

In the state of California I am sure that just about everyone has by now heard about water being shut off to many farms, because of a fish that is endangered could possible get caught in drainage pipes.

From what I have read and heard about all of this unemployment has risen a great deal because crops have died or are on the verge of doing so.

Because of the water being shut off there is no need for employment which is going to hurt many people as they depend on this work to support their families.

This is also going to cause the cost of fruits, veggies and nuts to become so expensive that people wont be able to afford them now.

Now I agree that we must protect endangered animals, but there has to be a quick way that this could have all been taken care of with out the lose of so many jobs and crops!!!

Here is some good reading about the whole ordeal that I thought everyone here may find intresting to read.

Crisis

I was watching all of this on the news last night and of course reading about it all today. I just cant belive that this is all happening. There has to be a way that would save these fish as well as keeping the crops that we all depend on alive.

What do you all think about this horrible situation that is going on? I personally am glad that I dont live in California, but because of what is going on there right now, the entire country is going to end up paying for it.
