The people who searched for little Caylee Anthony want their money back.
The company Texas Equusearch is a non-profit organization who assists authorities in locating missing persons. They rely on donations to fund their searches.
For four months after Caylee was reported missing this company searched for her. A total of 4,200 trained individuals and volunteers searched for Caylee from New York to Ohio and Utah. Whatever lies Casey Anthony told sending them on wild goose chases. Now the company wants to try and recover that money for their donors and is considering filing litigation.
Quote:
Miller said his group consented to help search for Caylee on the premise that she was missing. That’s a notion at odds, he said, with the scenario set out by Anthony’s defense team during their opening statement, when they said Caylee had died by drowning in the family pool.
“It’s only fair to our donors to make an attempt to get that money back, because people donate to us for the purpose of looking for missing children. And in [defense attorney] Jose Baez’s own statement, she was never missing,” Miller said.

I hope Casey Anthony has to pay up every penny!
In slightly other news: Did you hear that the Jerry Springer show has offered Casey Anthony one million dollars to appear on his show. The only catch is that her parents have to be there as well. They will probably do it for the money.
