Default Christmas List

Jingle Bells... Jingle Bells... Jingle all the way!

Oh ya, it is most definitely time to start making your Christmas list! Christmas is just a little over two months away. Doesn't it seem like we just had Christmas? This year is flying by!

With me having three kids to buy for I have to get an early start. I have already made up my mind on a few things that I want buy for them.

I hate that Christmas has become all about presents but my kids understand what the day is really about and they really don't get too much of anything all year long.. nor do they even ask for anything which is the amazing part I guess. They know we don't have a lot of money so I think thats why they don't ask for much lol.

Because of that I always try my best to make sure they have a great Christmas. To see their faces Christmas morning is worth all of the blood, sweat and tears it takes me to make the money to buy them gifts.

Usually I try to get each one of them one "big" present and a few smaller ones. In example, year before last my oldest daughter wanted a digital camera and I got one for $100.00. Thats a lot of money to me for a gift but it was worth it. She has taken great care of it and uses it all the time. This year, I have decided to get two really big gifts and have them be for all three of the kids. I want to get them a playstation 3 and Rockband to go with it. It will cost about $400.00 total but I know it will be worth it. They are going to be so excited I can already feel it!

Do you have any gift ideas planned out yet?

Default Re: Christmas List

I did alot of shopping at yard sales this year to get everyone several smaller gifts.

My oldest daughter age 19, wanted a larger home, because she is expecting her first child and her home was rather small. So she recieved her "big" gift from us early. We paid half on her new home. Now come christmas she will only be getting a couple of small inexpensive things.

My son age 18, only asked for new clothes. Well not really he asked for gift cards so that he can purchase what he wants. So we are planning on giving him a $300.00 gift card along with a few smaller gifts.

My youngest daughter who is almost 12 yrs old, is the one that will proably get what seems to be the most. She doesnt really ask for a whole lot. The big or I should say expensive gift that she wants is a Nintendo DS. Which she already had one and lost. So we are now debating on whether or not to get her another one. Other than that she will of course be getting alot of smaller gifts.

We scrimp and save all year long to be able to give everyone a good christmas. This year well I should say next year is going to be difficult since we paid half on a new house, but I know its going to be well worth the sacrifice!!

Though one problem that I am having is that my sweetie Rob refuses to tell me what he would like for Christmas. He is a mechanic and I thought of buying him some tools..... Yeah right, that man has just about every tool that there is. I just dont know what to do for him. I am completely stumped.

Anyone here have any ideas of what might be a good gift for him? He loves hot wheels cars and has sever hundred of them, but I know he is really picky about which ones he wants, favorite colors are red and green, is a professional mechanic, will all of this said hopefully someone will be able to give me a little help on this on!!
