Default Containers for bulk buying

We all know buying in bulk can save us a lot of money, but you may need to invest into some containers that are as air tight as possible. Here are some containers you may need:

1.25 gallon white plastic buckets with the matching snap on lids( can get smaller ones also depending on how much of one item you will be buying).

2.For those items you put in the freezer you may need Gladware or freezer storage bags.

This will all be worth the money because it will save you so much on grocery's.

Buying in bulk is a huge savings. Same goes for gardening and growing your own foods.

Getting the proper containers to store your goods in is vital or else all the money you saved on shopping is going to end up going to waste later on.

I buy in bulk as much as possible but I also grow as much as possible to save even more money.

If this is something that you do also you will need canning jars and seals as well. That way what you grow will last much longer than normal.

I agree with both of you, good storage containers of all types are needed when you buy in bulk.

But my question is this, why not save even more money by freezing those veggies instead of canning them. No need for canning jars, no heating up your kitchen, no additional electricity charges on your bill, and freezing veggies keeps them the whole season and all veggies can be frozen with a lot less time and effort. So, freezing can save you a whole lot more money.

Yes freezing vegs is a great idea, if you have a big enough freezer, I freeze ears of corn all the time so I can have fresh corn in the winter months, they do freeze good.
