Flying Cars

Can you imagine owning and driving/flying a flying car? Wow, that would be so scary but really cool at the same time. Imagine the fuel that you could save by being able to fly over objects instead of having to drive around everything!

Flying cars have actually been around for quite some time. The Aerocar was designed back in 1949 and was launched in 1956.



This next one isn't yet ready for takeoff but amazing nonetheless. It's called the Sokol 400. It is designed by a senior technical man at Boeing. He was inspired to build it because of traffic jams. He is hoping to gain more funding so that he can continue with testing.



I have never flown in an airplane even but this really amazes me. Is this our future? Probably. We need to find ways to save on fuel and they are developing these to run on very little fuel.

It's amazing what can be designed and created.
