Default Grocery Shopping Tricks

I work in a store and I will tell ya there are reasons why things are on the shelves where they are. It's all about placement of product.

Most people assume that items on the endcaps are sale items. That is so not true in most cases. Items are placed on the endcaps to entice people to pick them up as they walk past and NOT go into that aisle which is where the cheaper version is located.

Another thing to keep in mind is that items that are the most expensive are typically placed at eye level. The cheaper versions are higher or lower.

Stores are tricky, they know how to bring in the bucks.

One more thing I have learned, don't ever be ashamed to have a ton of coupons. I have literally seen people save $20-$30 dollars at a time because they came loaded with coupons.

another thing is to watch the prices each week on things that you buy,so when they say that they are on sale you will know if it really is or not.I have seen stores take a nickel off of the price of something and call it on sale.

They also usually always at the front or back of the store they have some things in special places all together that are on sale for really cheap because it is about to go out of date or has been dented or package ripped. You can get good prices on this stuff.
