In todays economy, making ends meet can be a real hassle and we all have our ways of making it happen.

One way we do it here at our house is by having only basic home phone service with no long distance and no accepted long distance phone calls. All long distance calls are made on our cell phones and only in the evening and are made to other cell phones which saves us a bundle of money on long distance calls as we have a very extended family and long distance calls could be a real budget killer.

Couponing is another way to save money be it on household cleaning products or groceries.

Making a grocery list and sticking to it is another way to save. That way you wont be buying things that you could actually do without.

Save on gasoline by making one trip do it all. Plan your shopping and bill paying for the same day and plan a route that will be the most direct route to get all this done. No needless trips saves you the cost of additional gas.
