Well she also has house payments and so she really can't afford doctors, dentists or eye care. Though she has been suffering with a toothache for about a month now.
She asked me to go along with her to see about getting assistance and hopefully help in getting in to see a dentist. Though she was denied any kind of assistance because of the facts she is not married nor does she have children.
Apparently only those in this country who have children or just get married are the only ones worth getting assistance so that they can sit at home and watch TV.
As for those who actually work their asses off making a life for themselves end up getting the shitty end of the stick!!

Hmm, that's odd. My friend works full time as a school bus driver, and doesn't have benefits through his company, either. But anyways, his income was below the limit for a form of medical assistance through the state (Pennsylvania) that he has to pay for, but, it's a pretty small amount (<$100 a month.)
Are there any organizations she can call in order to see if her state has something similar, or did she get a caseworker?
