Money Saving Contest

I just read this article about how the Governor of Montana held this contest to see who could come up with the best money saving ideas for the state. The picked the top four and they received some sort of prizes and they are implementing the ideas. Very cool idea.

We should do something like that here. We don't necessarily need a prize or anything. I just think it would be a great opportunity to pool some great ideas together. We can all use money saving tips. There is never enough. Then when we are done with submitting ideas, we can vote for the best.

Got to have facts to back it up though...

I think the ideas should be something that almost everyone can do. I mean we all know going out and buying all new energy efficient appliances will save us money but we can't all afford to go out and do that. So it should be smaller things that most people can do without spending a bunch of money.

What do ya think?

I have to admit that this is interesting to consider. Everyone likes the idea of saving money however there are many people who have trouble coming up with ways to save their money.

This little contest would be a great way to make sure that more and more people are able to find ways to save money and make things easier on themselves.

I think that that is a great idea,to help teach people to save.With such a boucy unsteady market right now,this is a really good idea.

A lot of times all people really need in order to get them to do things is just a little incentive.

I would be very happy to see stuff like this going on in more places all ocross the United States.
