Need help?

For those of you who might be short on cash, and need some help feeding your family, you can check your local churches so many of them give food away to people in need.

I rode past a church today that does that, and people was lined up around the block, it is a shame that it has come to that in this country, suppose to be the land of plenty, but so many people in need, but nothing to be ashamed of, if you need help never be embarrassed to ask for it, would sure be better then going hungry.

I hope no one here needs that type of help, but wanted to share this information to people who might need the help.

You can call the churches yourself, or look for signs posted, or just call your local job and family services, they would be happy to let you know where to go for help.

This is not always just for food, there is help if you need clothes, or help with your bills, I even hear there are some places that can help with cleaning supplies.

This is also why it is important that for whose who have plenty to share a bit of it to keep these places that do help in stock of needed items.

It is sad that in a country that is supposed to be able to help everyone else in the world, with such great freedoms has so many people who are going hungry and have to do what they can to get a meal.

It would be nice if things were different, but sadfully it's not. One of these days it would be nice to no longer need places like this, but until a time when that happens I sure am glad that they are around to help!!

It is a shame that there are people in this country that dont have enough money to feed their families.

And most times its through no fault of their own, they just dont make enough money to feed their families, let alone feed them a good healthy diet.

I have even seen food banks that have had to close because they dont have enough contributions to keep them going.

We all have canned foods that just sit in our cupboards, we could take these to a local food bank. Every little bit does help.

i also saw on the local news that many schools in my area are having the free lunch program all summer, that is great news for the kids who would not get lunch other wise.
