New Dollar Coins

Here is a photo of a new dollar coin that is now being circulated around the country.

If you will notice on this coin the writing "In God We Trust" has been left out!!!

I recieved this in an email from a good friend of mine. If I ever go shopping or to a bank and I am handed this new coin, I can guarentee one thing...I will be asking for something else!

I know that everyone has different opinions on the "In God We Trust" saying on all our money, but for as long as I can remember it has been there and I personally prefer it to stay there.

The email which I was sent was to ask people that if they recieve this new coin to return it and as for a dollar bill or other change which still has the saying on it, so that this new coin can be forced out of circulation. This is exactly what I plan on doing.

I am not one who attends church or anything like that, but I still dont want to see those words removed from our country!

Now let me say this, seeing as how this was sent to me in email, it could all be fake as we know that emails like this are easily forged. Though if it isnt, it is going to upset a whole lot of people.

That is what I call a shame!! I do not want one and if I get one I will give it back. After all this country is suppose to be based on "In God We Trust" That is one thing that is wroing with this country, it has forgotten the basic principals.

I wouldn't want to accept one of those either but be careful because a man brought in new dollar coins to the store where I work yesterday and the words "In God We Trust" WERE on the coins.

I guess they must be making some with and some without?

It came to my attention because I had just received an email the other day about the coins without the "In God We Trust" on them. It said to boycott them which I would do anyhow. (Although, I of course cannot refuse to accept them at work, no matter my own personal feelings) So I looked good at the coins and the words were there.

So before you say anything about a coin, look at it because it may have the words. You don't want to make an &%#@! out of yourself lol!

I personally would never accept a coin or bills that the words "In God We Trust" isnt written on.

Though I did learn something new lately. Some of the new coins that are being put into circulation do not have that saying written on the front or the back of them but rather it is on the edge of the coins.

Some believe that this was done, because they expect through use that the saying will be worn off quickly. Which to me is just as bad as not putting it on the coins in the first place.

I really dont know what is going on, but I know that if the coins I recieve as change do not have "In God We Trust" written on the front of them I wont accept them. Even if it is written on the edge of the coin, I will refuse to take them. Though that is just my personal opinion about all of this.
