Political Spending

Something this moring caught my attention and really pissed me off. They were talking about money that politicans spend in their campaigns and what not.

I found out that one politican who was not named recieved a FEDERAL GRANT to purchase bicycle helmets and give them away for free. Ok now keep in mind that this was money from all of our pockets.

Well this politican headed to the a popular area where many stars live like Alec Baldwin and so on to actually give out these helmets. Now does this make any damn sense to anyone here??

Why in the hell should a politician get free money for their own personal gains (in one way or another) in an area where people have enough money to purchase their own bike helmets with out a problem??

Now these helmets should have been given out in areas where children and adults were in seriously need of them yet couldn't afford them.

Just goes to show how much money people in this country love to waste!!!

Now that is rather upsetting. Kids today have a hard time getting grants to go to school on and this guy got a grant to buy bicycle helmets? Totally amazing.

And just for that guys information, the people he gave the helmets to in that rich area, well their votes dont count anymore than if he would have given the helmets to people who could really use them but couldnt afford them.

The little peoples votes are just as important as anyone elses.
