Default Retire, yeah sure.

These people have the right idea I believe. I have known several
people who retired and then passed away shortly there after. I
think because they firstly didn't take care of themselves and then
when they did retire they just sat around doing nothing.

Retire, yeah sure.

You have just got to love the innovation that these people have. Danged
if I am going to sit around in a rocking chair when I retire.

I have to agree with this. A person needs to stay active as long as possible to stay vital, and I don't intend to grow old and stale either, lol. I don't see me jumping out of airplanes, but then I didn't see me ever doing that, lol. I do see me continuing to take an active role in what I do like doing, however. I love gardening, and doing crafts, going to flea markets, and watching my grandchildren play baseball, softball, and football. (I'm active there too, I find myself jumping around and yelling like a little kid, lol). My point is, enjoy life, no matter what your age....you will be much happier, and healthier for it.

As long as my mind stays healthy and my fingers can still do the typing required for my job, I dont intend retiring till I just have no choice in the matter. And when I do, I will be out doing something to try to keep me healthy and happy.

Sitting around as a person ages, leads to walkers, canes, and wheel chairs.

Do crosswords, read, whatever it takes, to keep your mind healthy and quick. Our bodies were made to last hundreds of years. Its what we do with and to them that makes all the difference in the world in what we are like at 90.
