Ideas to help you save money when you are moving, one big thing is it is to easy to just eat out because you are so busy, but why not eat a sandwich, or a t.v. dinner much cheaper then eating out, this can save you a lot during your move.

It is much cheaper to rent a U-Haul, and do it yourself, even paying a few friends to help, then getting some big company come do it for you, they charge more then you think. Also if you stack everything right, and rent the right size truck, it will only take one load so no back, and fourth like if you use a pick-up truck.

Lastly remember to call your utility companies in time to transfer service, this is not about money, just getting everything on before you try moving in.

Thank you for the tips. Personally I hate moving and think it is one of the most stressful times for a family. Anything that can help make it more smooth is definitely a plus!
