If you have recently spent money on Slim Fast Ready-To-Drink products or if you have any sitting on your shelves you need to discard them immediately and call 1-800-896-9479 for a full refund.
It doesn't matter what flavor, UPC number, lot code or best-by date. Any of them or all of them could be contaminated with bacteria!
The recall does not include any of the other Slim Fast products. It is only for their ready to drink products.
They say that 10 million cans distributed in the United States are effected.
The company who makes the product says that it may be infected with a bacteria called Bacillus cereus. This bacteria can cause vomiting, nausea and diarrhea.
Even if you have already drank it and had become ill, I would call that number.
