Default Swine Flu

I just heard that my local health department will have the swine flu vaccination ready by the end of this month. I was told that the swine flu would be in the area where I live heavily this winter and so I want to be prepared ahead of time. The last thing I need is to be sick and miss work or spread it to my family.

They will also be giving out the normal flu vaccine as well. I will be getting both.

There are things that you can do help stop the spread of the swine flu.

1. Always cough or sneeze into a tissue. If a tissue is not available, cough into your elbow.

2. Wash your hands frequently and use anti-bacterial soap/germ-x.

3. Add a small amount of bleach to your dishwater to kill germs.

4. Use lysol on counters, door knobs and other areas where people touch.

5. Stay away from people who are ill.

6. If you do not feel well, stay home.

We really do need to stop the spread of this virus. It is dangerous and not fun to deal with.

Get vaccinated if you can.
