I don't know about you but I have been thinking about what to get the kids for Christmas this year. They don't get a whole lot usually but I do try to get them a few things that they really want. I'd rather spend my money wisely getting them a few things they want then just randomly picking things out myself and they don't like them! Although, even if they didn't like them, they would never tell me that lol.

I saw an article on some of the toys that are kid approved this season and so I thought I would share.

1. Rocky The Robot Truck-

This truck can do lots of things including tell jokes! It costs about $59.00 and is made by Mattel.

Barbie Fashionistas-

There are six different styles and they are all dressed to the nines. They cost $11.99 and are also made by Mattel.

The Beatles Rock Band-

This is a great one for older kids. They can sing, dance and play instruments along with the "Fab Four". I have never had this Beatles version but I can say Rockband is awesome. We have a ball playing it together as a family. It costs between $59.99-$249.99 and is made by Harmonix Systems.

I can't believe "Barbie" is still such a popular toy, god it was popular back when i was a child....I guess somethings never get old or replaced!

I miss not having smaller children to buy christmas gifts for, so me and my husband have decided every year to go and buy some toys and bring them to our local homeless shelter for women and children, its a wonderful feeling and we get to make and see some happy smiling faces!

Thats a really cool thing to do Empty Wallet! Not enough can be said for helping out those who are less fortunate.

As for the popularity of Barbie.... isn't it amazing! And she doesn't look a day older rofl! What kind of cream is she using? I need some lol!
