Default What Will You Buy Your Sweetheart?

It's already February 5th. Valentine's Day is right around the corner. What do you plan on buying your Valentine?

My husband and I have been together for like forever and a day. I hate to say it but we have gotten away from buying each other things for Valentine's Day. We still love each other but we have other things to do with the money.

This year I will probably buy him some electricity. We have an electric bill due lol. And I am thinking he will buy me some water!

Feel the love!!!

He will most likely buy me a box of chocolates, a rose and a card. I will get him a card and some peanut brittle or something lol. Thats his favorite!

It seems to me that Valentine's Day is just another way for stores to make money.

I think it's more special to get a rose on any day just because.... not on Valentine's Day when it seems to be expected.

Default Re: What Will You Buy Your Sweetheart?

I don't know what my other half is getting me other than taking me out to dinner at a place of my choice.

Though I know I did get him a sappy card, a white stuffed animal (a dog) with red hearts all over it and a box of chocolates.

That is all that he is getting from me and I think that he is lucky to be getting that much!!

Valentines day is a sweet day, but your right when you said that it is just another way for stores to make a buck off of everyone. I mean I spent a total of $27.00 on just the three things I got for my valentine!!

It's unreal, and I know there are people who spend a whole lot more on their valentines that I did.
