I didn't even know this but I guess there was bounty money set aside by congress to the tune of $50 million dollars. It was to go to whomever aided in the capture of Osama Bin Laden.
But now who should get it?
Quote:
Two congressmen from New York City say the bounty money should go to first responders, survivors and victims' families from the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Congressmen Anthony Weiner and Jerrold Nadler say Bin Laden's death appears to be the result of good intelligence work, so they are introducing legislation to redirect the bounty to organizations that assist 9/11 families.

I agree with the New York City congressmen. I think for sure the first responders should get the biggest portion divided amongst them because they are the ones that did the dirty work and put their lives on the line to do it.
I sure hope that the money does go for it's intended purpose. Knowing our Gov, it will probably line politicians pockets.
