1. when grocery shopping use coupons and shop in a place which doubles those coupons. Also make sure that you don't drive to one end of town to do a little shopping then to the other end of town. That just wastes a lot of gas. Also look for those items that are on sale. Sometimes things on sale are less expensive then even using a coupon on another brand.

2. Clothes shopping can be expensive however looking for sales is going to be your best bet here. There are a lot of great clothes that are on sale or reduced priced that work just as good as some of the same clothes that cost an arm and a leg.

3. Always put a little bit of money aside for yourself. Giving yourself an allowence will help prevent you from spending more than you should, and make sure that you don't include things that are needed for the house, kids or spouse. This money should be used to buy yourself something that you want and not really need. Everyone needs to have some fun money.
