Default Budget Food Shopping

1.Have a budget in mind that you can not stray from.

2.Use cash to make your purchases, who needs interest on them credit cards?

3.Stick to buying sale items, try to plan your meals around what is on sale.

4.Write a grocery list of exactly what you need, and again stick to the list.

5.Hold yourself accountable, for anything you pick up that you do not need.

6.Get to know the prices of items, so you know about what it is going to cost you for everything before you get to the checkout.

Here are some general rules to keep your cost down at the store:
1.Do not go to the grocery store hungry

2. Do not bring kids or a spouse that will detour you from your list

3.If it is not on the list, do not buy it

4. Do not go when you are feeling really rushed. By using a good system of meal planning and planning grocery shopping trips you will find time at the store is minimal, but it is to go at time when there are fewer people and your not in too much of a time crunch.

Most of all have fun while shopping.
