Choosing Generics Over Name Brands

First off, I will admit that there are a few things that generics just cannot live up to par when it comes to quality or taste. For the most part though, generics are the best way to go!

One example for my family, Maxwell House coffee. We never buy generic coffee because we do not like the taste of it at all. We only drink Maxwell House. I always try to buy it on sale though because it is very expensive.

If you want to save money though try buying generics rather than name brand items. You will be suprised at the quality you will find.

I refuse to buy name brand just for the cartoon characters or whatever they use to make them seem better. Nine times out of ten the ingredients are exactly the same in generics as name brand products. I mean almost everything from medicines to food to household items. Why spend more for a name? That makes no sense to me.
