Default Christmas Savings

One time of the year we tend to really go overboard with spending is at Christmas time. I have even known people to take out loans to get Christmas gifts for family and friends.

I am sorry but this year I do plan on getting something for everyone but I am not going to allow myself to go overboard with anything. Everyone is getting something, but it is going to be something simple and most likely something that they need rather than what they want.

I have made things easier on myself and have been shopping at thrift stores, yard sales and flea markets to get many of the presents that I am planning on giving as gifts this year.

I also know that there are many people who will also max out all of their credit cards to pay for Christmas. This is something that is seriously a bad idea. Credit cards may seem to help right away but in the long run you pay out much more than needed.
