Default Creative couponing.

I have been looking for some ideas on how to save some money on my groceries. I love to cook but find it difficult to keep everything I need on hand.

Here are a couple of ideas that I am going to try now that I know about them.
Quote:
Stack Coupons

You can stack plates, you can stack laundry, but did you know that you can stack coupons too? Increase your savings by combining a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon for the same item; or take it to the savings extreme by combining a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon, a sale and a rebate.

Combine BOGO Sales with BOGO Coupons

Like freebies? Then try this: combine a buy one get one free coupon with a buy one get one free sale, and you'll get both items free. Pretty slick, eh?

Coupon the Clearance Rack

Clearance prices are good, but they can get even better. Carry your coupons with you at all times, and you'll be ready to match coupons on the fly.

These tips along with a few others should help to save me a few bucks and get the extra items that I want to keep on hand. They also mentioned checking your stores to see which ones do double and triple coupons. You kinda have to check the coupons also some do say do not double or triple but there are many that you can use this way. Happy savings!

Default Re: Creative couponing.

Thanks so much for the heads up on couponing. I hadnt realized there were so many ways to go about saving money by using the coupons that I usually end up throwing away.

I have read and seen on television though where some people do take the couponing thing to the extreme. They actually have rooms full of brand new merchandise that has never been used and are still couponing and shopping daily.

But couponing can save a lot of money when it comes to groceries and other merchandise you need to buy so I will be rethinking tossing out those coupons.
