Default Cutting expenses.

Cutting expenses can be the hardest thing in the world to do. With the price of gasoline rising it is best to do it in a day. Shopping that is,if you must go plan ahead.

Write out your list of things needed and where you will go to get them. I also believe that if you are going out to pay bills you should plan to shop on those days.

Save time and money by combining these chores. You could also just get money orders from your mail carrier or post office and mail the payments. Either way that is one less trip to make.

I also like to catch a ride with a friend that way we share the gas expense and get to spend time together. We help each other to decide what is the better buy. Sometimes we split the expense on larger packages of things and then split them.

Be careful with the reusable bags. There was a report about them and the fact that they need to be washed frequently.

Although reusable they will hold bacteria that can make you sick if you don't clean them.

With the rising cost of gasoline it is now necessary for us to re-evaluate the way we drive. If you take the time to just let off the gas instead of brakeing.

Take off slowly don't floor it unless you absolutely have too. While driving if you can drift you will be saving gasoline. I have a newer car and it is great on gas but it has a feature that allows you to see the average mileage as you are driving. Its a great thing as I now realize that I can at times up my cars mileage by just letting off the gas pedal and letting the car roll.
