Default Dealing with Debt

It is so easy to get into debt. The hard part is getting out of debt.

It can be done though.

You just have to make the decision to cut expenses where you can and apply that money to your debt. And it can't be a once in a while thing. It has to be week to week.

Before your next payday sit down and make a list of your bills and things that you need to get by for the month. If you get paid every week, divide the total of your bills and other necessities by four. Thats the amount you need each week for your bills. See what you have left over. Take half of whats left over and apply it to your debt. Keep the other portion for emergencies.

If you do this you will quickly see that mountain of debt begin to crumble. You just have to stick to it no matter what.

Default Re: Dealing with Debt

I have dealt with this myself and it can be difficult. You have to plan ahead and check your credit report to make sure that your getting all of them.

When we get our income tax money it is one of the first things we have done. Pay off the bills that are on the credit report. They won't disappear for a while but it shows that they are paid and that counts too.

Your right that you need to plan ahead paying your bills before the become overdue and get sent to a credit agency will save you a major headache in the future.
