Grow Your Own & Save
When the weather clears up and the chance of frost has passed it is the time to get gardens going.
Gardening and growing your own fruits and veggies are a HUGE savings on your grocery bill, especially if you have the space and freezer to get a good size garden going to last you all year long.
90% of the veggies that I like to eat are grown in my own garden. I seriously save a lot of money. I don't have to buy tomatoes, radishes, lettuce, corn, green beans, peas and so on because I grow it all in my own garden.
Fresh veggies and fruits in a grocery store are expensive and it is getting worse. So starting a good size garden to make sure you have all you need through the year is a big savings.
Now there are some things I can not grow in my area and so those things I have to buy, but because I save so much on growing all that I can those things I have to buy aren't so bad.
Learning to freeze and can foods is a must if your going to grow your own because most things won't last if you don't. Learning to can your own sounds hard but it really isn't. It's a little time consuming but well worth the saving and freshness!!
