Default Holiday Help

I am really thankful that there are places everywhere that help those who are in need of it. With all of the people that have been laid off this year, there are going to be even more families who are going to need a little bit of a helping hand to help make the holidays possible in their homes.

I really do wish that there were not a need for places to help people, but that would mean we have a perfect world and we all know that is not the case and not even close to it.

I know that places like the Salvation Army, GoodWill, Toys For Tots and more are all doing all that they can to get ready for the onslaught of people they are expecting to see this holiday season.

Because I know that these places are going to a whole lot of help so that they can help others, I am going to do what I can to help them any way possble. The little bit of money I save on my holiday shopping is going to go to these places so that maybe they will be able to help even more people.

Just keeping the change you get back from your purchases made at the store that the Salvation Army pots are in front of and dropping that change in the pot as you leave can be a huge help if everyone would do that.

I have always enjoyed the stories that I hear occassionally of Salvation Army workers finding a huge contribution in the pot at the end of the day.

Too many kids this year will have a skimpy Christmas, so we all need to pitch in and do whatever we can.
