Default Keep grocery bills down

When buying at the grocery store the best way to save money is to buy generic as much as possible, you may have to look down to the bottom shelves to find this, the stores put it low so you will just grab what is right in front of you, this being the higher priced items.

Always eat before you go shopping to help stop impulse buying, or buying more then you need to.

You can buy in lower priced stores to really save a lot. Major chains usually cost a lot more for everything, except maybe during a big sale. Bulk stores most of the time have the best deals if you have room to put it all. I normally only have to go to the grocery store one time a month I seem to save a lot this way not just on my store purchase but also on gas.

These are really great tips that should help most people. I agree about the generic...you know if you look they are usually even made in the same plant as the name brand.

Yes a lot of generic brands are made at the same place as higher end items are made, if you look at the address will match the higher priced items, thank you for pointing that out.
