Default Keeping cool

I found it to be cheaper to run your air conditioners then it is to run a bunch of fans that only move the warm air around anyways.

So to keep cool turn that air on just do not put it too low where it never kicks off, then it will cost you way to much, but keeping it at 68-70 is a good place for lower bills, and a good place to keep cool, that we all need right now, with the high temps, and humidity,.

I know mine has been on with no worries about how much money it is costing me, because I do not run it to freeze me out, and I am not using a bunch of fans that use more energy.

Default Re: Keeping cool

We use our air conditioner all the time too as I cant handle the heat in the summer time, but I also use my ceiling fans to help circulate the cool air better.

Running the air conditioner doesnt, as you said, have to cost an arm and a leg.

Also, using a dehumidifier in the summer months will help take the moisture out of the air, helping it feel cooler in your home. Its the humidity that makes it seem so hot and here in Ohio, the humidity can get quite high.
