Default Keeping energy bills down

To help keep your cooling bills down adding ceiling fans is a great way, it will keep the air circulating in your home, makes your air conditioner not have to work as hard, keeping the sun out with blinds, and curtains will help this also.

Another energy saving tip is to keep you refrigerator, and freezer maintenance, here are a few tips n how to do this:

1.Clean the condenser coils.

2.Clean the drain hole and drip pan.

3.Check and clean the gaskets.

4.Change the water filter.

5.Check for level.

Now the freezer:
1. Check the seal occasionally to ensure proper sealing. If the seal is not adequate, the door may require an adjustment or the seal may need to be replaced.
2. Defrost and clean the freezer regularly. Ice build-up will lower it's efficiency.
3. Safeguard your small children by keeping freezers locked.
Vacuum any exposed condenser coils regularly to ensure proper air circulation.
4. Keep temperature constant to keep food from spoiling.
5. Label and date food contents for quick retrieval, and ensure that foods are properly rotated.

A real good way to save those energy dollars is to dry your clothes on a clothesline, not the dryer.
