Default Kids Trying to Help Save Money

I have a cute little story to tell ya'all.

Yesterday when I was on my break at work I called home to check on the kids. My youngest daughter got on the phone because she was all excited and had to tell me something. She said "Mommy, I have been cutting out coupons from the newspaper for you". Then she started telling me about each of the coupons she had cut. I told her it was a great job and I thanked her.

When I got home she had a huge pile of "coupons" on the table waiting for me. Bless her little soul but she had cut out the ads from all of the local stores for me! There wasn't one coupon to be had! It was just all of the pictures and prices in the advertisements! So cute.

I am proud of her for thinking about trying to save and doing something to help. She definitely has the right idea!

Kids know what it means to save money, and I am pleased that she at least attempted to help out.

Who knows maybe when she does get old enough to know what to cut out, she will be more than willing to help ya out with clipping coupons.

I give your daughter 2 thumbs up for her attempt in helping to save the household money.

If more kids were willing to do things to help out the parents, things would be much easier on the parents in the long run.

She just made me so proud and tickled at the same time. She is such a sweatheart. She was just so proud of what she had done I hated to tell her that they weren't coupons lol. I didn't want to hurt her feelings. She was fine though and I showed her what the coupons actually are so she can be more productive now lol.

Its fantastic that she was trying to help you out. And you can remind her that what coupons you dont use can be left at the store for others to use.

She will be even prouder when she realizes that by cutting out those coupons that she is not only helping you but others too.

Kudos to this little sweetheart.
