New Shoes For Work

I never would have thought of this one on my own but it would work. Often times when a person is hired for a new job, chances are they require black shoes to be worn and there are times when money for new shoes isn't in the budget.

I was shopping at Sears the other day for a pair of work shoes and I was talking to the lady working there how expensive shoes and everything else has gotten in this country. Well she got into telling me that a friend of hers had that problem. She needed black shoes for work and didn't have any and couldn't afford a pair at that time.

Well I guess she took a pair of white shoes and used a can of black spray paint and painted them. This worked until she was able to get a pair of new shoes.

That was an interesting tip and thought I would pass it along. I am sure that there are others out there that are in that situation and could use a nice tip like this so pass it along!!

This could be a good solution if in a situation that required a certain color shoes and the money situation was such that prevented a person from purchasing new shoes.

I know several jobs that I've held over the years have required me to buy black shoes and pants, and of course just the fact that I was looking for work meant that money was kind of tight, lol. This idea could have saved me from buying those shoes - I could have at least waited until I received my first paycheck to buy them!!

I don't know why businesses expect people who are looking for work to buy a bunch of stuff like clothing and shoes. People wouldn't be looking for work if they could afford things like that.

They all shouldn't expect new employees to buy this kind of stuff at least until their first paycheck is recieved. That would make more sense to me. Though I don't see that getting changed any time!
