Pinching Those Pennies
It seems just about everyone right now is having to pinch those pennies to make sure that everything is taken care of that needs to be.
Here are some great ways I have found to save a good bit of money. Carpool to work or for grocery shopping - this saves fuel, wear and tear on cars.
Also keep the monthly bills at home as low as possible. Dry your clothes outside when the weather allows, turn off lights when not needed, don't leave water running (and if there is a drip some where fix it), Unplug electronics when not in use. Believe it or not they still use a small amount of power when turned off. Cook outside as much as possible. This save the cooling costs of the home and the electric/gas bill.
Clip coupons for the things that you need and if you can use them in a store that offers double coupons your gonna be better off. If you can't find coupons of things that you need turn to the internet and print your own if possible.
Don't buy cleaning products. Practically ever home has what is needed to make your own. This can be a huge savings as most cleaning products are harsh and cost a lot.
Set your thermostats higher in the summer and lower in the winter. This is also good savings.
When buying new appliances make sure that they are energy efficient. They cost more to begin with, but the savings over time are a big benefit.
